The property looks beautiful, especially with all the snow around. It's a great place to stay if you're planning on doing the Golden Circle on your own and don't want to be in a hurry. We had dinner at the restaurant in front of the hotel, which was both convenient and delicious. The next day, we had lunch at the famous tomato soup place nearby. The self-check-in process was easy and hassle-free, and there was ample parking space available.
Super nice and cozy hotel in the middle of the golden circle. It has a big parking, very convenient when driving through iceland by car. Nice and clean, exceeding our expectations. Breakfast was amazing and the rooms very quiet. Hot tub was perfect after getting to the hotel in the middle of a snow storm.
There are not many restaurants around the hotel, so make sure to make a reservation for dinner in some of the restaurants nearby beforehand because they can get pretty busy!
The host was very friendly and the house was furnished and decorated very warmly and cozy.
The kitchen had everything you need to cook a nice meal. The area was also very peaceful for a nice walk. There were enough parking spots.
Beautiful new hotel with excellent amenities. Loved the outdoor hot tub. Rooms smart and clean. Ensuite a decent size. Very comfy bathrobes. Breakfast was good in the chalet just outside the main entrance. Evening meal in the restaurant Mika just over the road, just make sure you book as seems very popular. Plenty of parking. Quiet location. Keyless entry to rooms which was efficient. Quick to get into the countryside for observing the Northern Lights.
Great modern room in a beautiful part of town. Lots of car parking space, and across from a restaurant and convenience store. There is a hot tub in the night, and the breakfast in the morning was really good with a large selection To choose from on the buffet. The lady at checkin was extremely helpful and welcoming too.
