Large windows magnificent for watching northern lights. Owner very responsive to maintenance needs, which were minor. House provided nice privacy for two couples. Kitchen was well supplied with seasonings, spices. Nearby dining was excellent: Mika, Fridhaemar, Efstidalur. This house is a great central location for visiting Golden Circle highlights like Geysir, Gullfoss, Secret Lagoon, Thingvellir.

There were 4 adults in our group. We loved the cabin right when we walked in. It has windows and views from every side which makes the cabin seem even bigger. We stayed here just one night and wished we had stayed longer. The beds were comfy, the bathroom is big and we loved having a private hot tub heated with geothermal water.
