The Grove Lodge Guesthouse, hotel in Glenbeigh

With a beautiful, peaceful location on the banks of the River Laune, this well appointed family-run guest house offers spacious, luxurious en suite rooms and free Wi-Fi.

Beautifully situated by the river, amazing garden and views, our room had a patio door and a little suntrap. Unfortunately it was wasp season so they were enjoying the suntrap too, so we decided to let them have the outside area!!! Tea and coffee available in a little kitchenette area at reception, all laid out so we could help ourselves, excellent selection of tea and a fabulous coffee machine. There is a fridge to keep other smaller items, named of course, which was useful. And, a tin of chocolate biscuits/bars to help yourself to.

The kindest host, we felt very welcome, the beds were comfortable and the breakfast was excellent. The house was lovely. Plenty parking and a lot of bars and restaurants are available a few minutes away on foot. Bring cash for payment, though there's an ATM not too far away in case you, like me, did not read the fine prints attentively :)

Travelling as a group of 5 motorcycle riders. Parking facilities were attached to the hotel. Rooms were a nice size and everything was spot on. Restaurant and bar downstairs was very busy but as a resident it’s easy to reserve a table.

Simple hotel that gets the job done and understands hospitality. Simple car park with easy access to hotel. Great reception. Friendly, helpful staff. Simple mechanical door key that worked first time, every time. Great bar with great food and drink and evidence of the 'Craic'! Their fish chowder and fish and chips were both amazing. Breakfast was also amazing. I'm pretty sure that this hotel will be my absolute favourite on my Wild Atlantic Way tour.

The facilities were very nice, the breakfast was also very delicious and well served. There was gated parking available. Although the hotel is right by the road, we weren’t bothered by the road noise. It’s a relatively small village/town. The staff were very friendly.

Located on a quiet main road with ample parking on site, we were afforded a late checkin and early breakfast service so we could keep to our schedule. Room very comfortable and clean and the breakfast set us up for the day. Very friendly owner/staff met us on arrival and cooked and served the breakfast and sent us off the next day. Would stay here again. Highly recommended.
