It was room only, but the hostess provided fresh milk in the small fridge as well as yoghurt and cereals to start the day. Much appreciated.
The bed was comfortable and the private bathroom was good.
The stay met our expectations and we could certainly recommend it.
The Smugglers Inn overlooks the sandy beach at Ballinskelligs Bay. Most rooms have sea or mountain views and the hotel has a bar, a gourmet restaurant, free WiFi in all areas and free parking.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Location is very good, quite close to the Ballinskelligs beach and easy distance to Waterville, Finian's Bay, Cahirciveen, and Port Magee. You have the whole cottage to yourself and the upstairs rooms are very big, full bathrooms upstairs and downstairs (downstairs is en suite in the third bedroom). Full kitchen and good size common area. Four cottages with a shared driveway area our front, plenty parking. Someone did come by the day after arrival to check in and see did we need anything.
So nice to have parking. The lounge/dining area is very large and comfortable. Outside grounds looked lovely, but the rain precluded us from enjoying them.
