The accommodation is ideally situated for the ferry. The owner and staff were very friendly and welcoming. Overall, when we just needed somewhere to sleep for the night, it was great value for money.

Basic but expected given price. Only stayed for 1 night to get some sleep before catching ferry so didn’t bother us too much.

Perfect location. About 10 mins walk from ferry and less than 5 mins to train station.
Double Room really spacious.
The host friendly and very responsive. Even if we booked last minute and texted that we might arrive after 11 pm as the ferry was delayed, he replied very quickly. And there was no hassle.

There were no staff at check-in, but instead I pressed a buzzer and a lovely caretaker lady came to take me to my room.
The room was very simple but the TV and A/C worked well.
There was no hot water, but the area was so hot, that it wasn't needed.
I don't really understand the significance of "Syariah", but the hotel seemed the same as any other.
Tea and coffee making facilities were outside the room in a little communal area.
The ferry crossing is walking distance.

The staff was really friendly! We were able to book a day tour to Ijen, which we highly recommend. The facilities at the hotel were also very clean and the room was beautifully decorated.

Lovely guesthouse with lovely hosts! We stayed overnight here whilst doing the Ijen sunrise hike which was organised through the guesthouse. Everything was super smooth and breakfast was made for us on our return. The hosts even sorted out a last minute taxi for us when the trains were down! Absolute life savers!!
