I stayed at one of the private rooms with a private bathroom. Everything was clean and the staff at the bar was very friendly. At the reception the staff was a bit cold and distanced and you’d notice that they made a big effort selling their tours. The hotel is situated at the river Lanquin and offers a beautiful natural pool. I had a whole day just enjoying that. The food at the hotel is amazing and some nights they’d offer activities like karaoke, which was a lot of fun. I did the Semuc Tour with the caves and waterfall. I didn’t feel like the caves were a must-see, but considering that the difference in price was only about 15-20USD (compared to just transport and entrance Semuc), I guess it was a fair price.

perfect location , perfect food and perfect people !the owners are very hostile and gentle ! you have to know that it is inside the jungle so there is not hot water(you don’t need it because the weather conditions are perfect) or luxurious amenities but it was the best hotel we have visited in Guatemala!
