Eco-friendly with lots of solar panels, self-irrigated water supply. The rooms were clean & comfortable with a fully equipped kitchen but our accommodation wasn’t just that. It was the bells from the local goats going to feed in the morning and going to sleep in the evening. It was the high-spirited residents of Makrinou village right next where we were getting amazing fresh produce, free range eggs, our morning coffee and meat for the barbecue that the property hosts at its vast dual garden. We found kid scooters and bicycles from the owners child which they gracefully offered for use for our daughter. We had a Greek style family BBQ all together, and were saddened that our holiday ended soon. The lake near by, is the largest natural lake in Greece which resembles a sea, is of unparalleled beauty, and the hosts provided us even with a SUP board which we used for exploring
