It's a beautiful, truly authentic house in a gorgeous village. Even though we visited off season, we still very much enjoyed the wonderful Fourni and the neighbouring Kastelli. If you want to experience real rural Crete I definitely recommend this place. The interior of the house is just lovely as well. Little tip: don't try to park right near the house, despite what the GPS tells you, the road there is accessible to pedestrians only, parking on the main road is much better.

Accommodation was well designed and maintained.. Minimal, practical, functional, super clean. Well equipped kitchen including cleaning products, bathroom included towels, hairdryer washing machine and shower products Plenty of storage in wardrobe and clothes dryer and iron available. Doors and windows have flexible openings so can be opened but locked or opened fully with full insect screens giving a refreshing flow of air. Inside all tiled so nice and cool and cooling using heat exchange instead of air conditioning. Room was serviced and owner kindly asked to arrange time. Owner also very helpful with advice on where to go. Village has some of the best restaurants around and our only regret is not eating more within the village. The Kristini taverna was great all round. Village is picturesque and perfect for access to many areas. Highly recommend. Thanks to owners from rafal, Ali and kuba
