The apartment was pristine, well equipped and charming. The village is gorgeous and quiet after the day trippers go home. There are a number of good restaurants in town, and a few small but well stocked mini marts nearby. Good hikes start in the village and the local bus system is inexpensive, reliable and comfortable (buy tickets in the village at Goulia Cafe on the main road), for outings to hike Mt. Zas/Filoti or Mousouna for the beach. Highly recommend a few days in the village to complete your Naxos experience.

In a very quiet residential area and only a few minutes walk to tavernas and shops. There is also a traditional wood fired bakery close by. The accommodation is very secure with a lockable external door which leads up to the terrace. The bathroom was very good, the only criticism is that the light in the bathroom was somewhat dim. The kitchen was well equipped with a full electric cooker, microwave, large fridge freezer and plenty of crockery and utensils. The only thing missing was a smaller saucepan which Martha quickly remedied. Martha left us a selection of fruit, teas, coffee and local produce.

Bruce is an amazing host and person, he made us feel extremely welcome and he was constantly providing tips and insights on the island. His place was AMAZING, very beautiful, comfortable, clean, and with a great location. I would definitely stay there again!

A traditional beautiful old house full of charm! The hostess was very friendly and helpful. Always easy to reach! Such an interesting old house where you can wander around all of the old village roads. You feel as though you are a local!! Beautiful!!! Great location as well!

It was well-equipped to feel like a home while traveling - a kitchen with everything you need, a washing machine and drying rack, a quaint and private outdoor space, plenty of space for luggage and hanging clothes, fans and heating/cooling, secure doors and windows, lots of towels and complimentary toiletries and a variety of biscuits and local wines/liqueurs. The house was so clean and Mike met us to help us with the luggage as the house is only accessible by about 30 steps from the road. The location was superb with Mountain Views, in a quiet and safe location and close to the Main Street of town.
