- We adored the location of the villa. The setting is peaceful, as you're surrounded by olive groves in the Cretan countryside with mountain and sea views, making the villa feel very private but still a fantastic base for exploring Rethymno and Crete. A quiet retreat after a day of exploring. - The villa was super clean and modern. The kitchen had everything you could possibly need to cook in, and the smart TV in the living area was huge. Luxurious touches like the bath with jets in the main bedroom, a private pool and rainfall shower. - Our villa was cleaned every 3 days and the hosts were lovely. - Despite the rural location, we felt very safe as the area is well-lit and security cameras protect the driveway and villas.
