It was amazing, Mike and his parents are super super friendly. From the moment we arrived until we left we felt very welcomed. Fresh fruits waiting for us, wine, breakfast in fridge. Freshly baked cookies and Raki 😀. And not only once!!! The terrace is amazing with the view and the furniture, good place to relax. Really nice & private location, great view through the hills to the sea. Good starting point for hiking, but also close enough to several beaches. Garden growing all the fruits you could think of. The owner's mother, who let us in, was really lovely.

The view from the upper terrace and the outside seating was wonderful. The house is cozy and spacious and perfect as a get-away for a couple. Several nice beaches are just a 10-20 minutes drive away. The host gave us a very warm welcome and provided us several good tips for siteseeing - she was also very attentive and answered messages within minutes.

Lovely renovated stone house with a wonderful view. We enjoyed our stay very much. From fresh oil to raki, everything was in the house. We loved to have our breakfast at the terrace before starting to explore the east of Crete. A very good place to discover Sitia, Vai and the mountains. Thanks to Manos and his lovely family. Our host, Giorgos, was extremely hospitable. He met us at the local petrol station as access was down an unmarked road and provided a wonderful welcome package including a large fruit bowl and two bottles of wine. On the final evening he provided a tasty box of pastries. The apartment is beautifully renovated with a Minoan theme and good cooking facilities.
