A warm welcome from Carolyn on arrival. Both hosts were very accommodating and helpful.
A kettle in the room is always a thumbs up.
Everywhere is clean and tidy, and the breakfast was enjoyable.
The shared bathroom was not an issue as the lodge only has a few rooms.
The bathroom is spacious and equipped with a nice power shower.
Eating places within a few minutes walk.
Overall, a really nice place and the price was very good in comparison to local competition.

It was in a lovely location. The Annexe was very tastefully decorated. It was peaceful and quiet.
It had a microwave and plates and cutlery were provided, but I would recommend you take a tea towel or speak to the owner, she is really friendly and I’m sure she would provide one.

It is quirky old property. Well kept. Had off road parking so a bonus. Very clean. Lots of history in the property. Our room was very spacious . Some nice surprises- packet of biscuits for coffee/tea and water in the fridge, chocolate on the bed. The owner Steve was also very informative about the local area.
The cottage was spacious, comfortable, great facilities and the host Steve was very accommodating, nothing was too much trouble. Great off road parking.Cannot recommend highly enough. We will certainly rebook with the guys again.
A lovely couple running this establishment, very welcoming and friendly. Thoughtfulness is shown by the way they look after you in their quirky (architecturally) old house. There is a good selection of speciality teas and coffee, plenty of fresh milk in the fridge, and a toaster and microwave plus plates and utensils also provided. The bed was comfortable, with good linen, and excellent wifi signal too. Plenty of parking on site.
The cottage is charming and quaint. The check in was smooth and there was plenty of parking.
