Well thought out and a decent location for a break.
Swimming pool and other facilities able to be booked for your own group for half an hour time slots. This was great as we had a five week old baby and it was his first time in the pool so we obviously had to make preparations for this.
Old Oak Tree has a garden, terrace, a restaurant and bar in Thirsk.

Excellent stay. Room was spacious and clean. Bed extra comfy, food fantastic, excellent breakfast. Proper Yorkshire tea bags and proper cups in the room. Friendly staff. Could not fault it at all and will deffinately be back again.

Deceivingly roomy cottage with lovely characteristics, quiet position, lovely surroundings and beautifully appointed. Fabulous garden for us & the dogs. Only stayed one night, wish it could’ve been longer, maybe next time as we’d definitely stay again.

Location was brilliant to just stroll into Thirsk or the very good crown and anchor pub, the also good Fish n chip shop, but mostly the reason we were there was it was 15 minute walk to the brilliant Thirsk racecourse.
Cosy family farm static caravan, a property with a garden, is set in Dalton, 36 km from York Railway station, 36 km from Royal Hall Theatre, as well as 36 km from York Minster.

Exceeded our expectations, beautifully laid out, clean and fresh throughout. Lovely little hamper on arrival, basic essentials provided including more than expected. Super quiet location. Not a fault at all and would recommend this in a heartbeat, well actually I wouldn’t … just in case I selfishly wanted to book again!!!
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The couple were welcoming. The room was clean and warm. Lots of towels.
It was super easy to access the room when returning late at night. Parking was OK.
Breakfast was excellent. Very accommodating with my dietary requirements/allergy.
