The property was beautiful including the grounds which were an incredible view. Food and bar was outstanding as was the service. It’s definitely out of the way to get to but well worth it.

We appreciated the location, close to lots of hiking and Balmoral Castle. It had plenty of beds and was spacious. The owner was responsive and kind, especially when a piece of lost luggage was delivered after our stay. She was helpful in coordinating getting the item back to us! The house also had a clothes dryer which we really enjoyed!

The Commercial is a great rural pub with welcoming and friendly staff. We stayed for a weekend as we were up for a wedding and it was very comfortable with a great breakfast to kick start the day. Car parking is just behind the pub so very convenient.

The Breakfast was brilliant, plenty of choice and well cooked. Located in a small village off the beaten track, with plenty of parking space at the back of the hotel. The staff were all excellent, attentive, helpful and friendly. We ate in the restaurant in the evening and couldn't fault the meals in any way. We also had a few drinks in the bar before our meal and were impressed with the warm welcome the local villagers gave us, they made us feel as if we were actually at home.

Location was central and easy to find. Parking outside was excellent. There were no problems checking in or out and the doors were open early for departure and late for arrival when required.

Room was large, microwave and crockery in it. Sofa to relax on. In room one where we stayed, one of the beds needs replacing. It simply sunk in the middle. Luckily we only needed to use two beds, so we left that as the spare bed. Room was absolutely fine. Parking right outside. Lovely staff. Great food and drink prices. Great brekkie for £8.
