It was a self catering property but lots of thoughtful extras such as fresh milk and fruit are provided. The flat is spacious and quiet. All necessary equipment is there so our stay went very well and we were able to relax in between various activities.

The location was peaceful and idyllic and set in the countryside. The picturesque market town of Stoney Stratford was close at hand. The guesthouse is set well back from the roadside and is accessed across a small ford. Our hosts provided exceptional service and our room was very pleasant and full of character. Everything was in good working order and whilst the weather outside was damp, cold and pouring with rain, our room was ‘toasty’ and welcoming. The breakfast room was very impressive and our meal was cooked to perfection. The views out onto the front of the property ensured we had a relaxing start to our day.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Breakfast good, the hotel bar was good atmosphere. Free parking. Location on high street. The room was larger than expected, like two rooms together with a sofa and two TVs.
Arrival and car parking was very convenient. The reception was good and the room very comfortable. All of the staff were friendly and helpful. A great location makes it an ideal base.
I always stay at this hotel when visiting friends in the area. Great accommodation, clean and well appointed. Good selection of well cooked food for breakfast, with good selection on the Greene King menu in the bar and restaurant. Free parking to rear of the hotel, with a reasonable selection of shops, pubs and coffee shops in the Main Street outside.
The menu was good and the helpings generous. The chaise longue in our room was not very comfortable, the chair was much better, The shower was very good. The service was friendly. The car parking was fine when the apparent restrictions were explained.
