Breakfast was very good, eggs, toast and smoked kippers with strong hot coffee. The history of Oxenham Arms is amazing. So many fascinating figures have stayed here. One of our hosts, John, was full of facts and anecdotes, obviously very proud of the place! We took his advice on a hike nearby and it was one of the highlights of our UK trip.

Really excellent communication throughout and made our special occasion extra special with lots of thoughtful touches- a card and some other treats. Nothing was too much or too little to ask from the hosts. The space was very clean and cosy and though small and minimalistic as expected, had amenities required.
