Lovely stay for the Great North Run not too far from Newcastle. John was an amazing host that makes you feel welcome in his home and comes across as a genuinely friendly and kind person. The property was clean, the bed is extremely comfortable and the plant-based breakfast was great.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Great flat with easy access to lots of incredible scenery and countryside. Also above an excellent bakery. Breakfast was exceptional. Well equipped kitchen, big telly and easy nearby parking. Apartment was well equipped and perfect for 2 people. Instructions from the owner were clear and easy. A marvellous place to stay
We needed a local place for a couple of weeks, & this apartment more than met our needs. Cosy, comfortable, just right for resting up in front of the TV.
Stayed Nov/Dec, so weather was cold/wet/snow but we were warm.
Good size bathroom, good shower, plenty of hot water.
Only used the kitchen for cereal prep/sandwiches/coffee so we didn't use the oven/hob.
Apartment was larger than expected.
Easy parking just across the road (via pedestrian crossing).
Fantastic flat - above a lovely café, superb welcome pack, clean, spacious, well furnished, all mod cons, VG comms from owner, parking, bus stop, shops / takeaways / cash point 1m walk, coffee machine ,great TV. No complaints!!
