A gem of a village pub nestled in the beauty of The Northumberland National Park. Bedrooms were newly refurbished with large, exceptionally comfortable bed, quality furnishings and spotless ensuite bathroom with walk-in shower. Each room had its own private outdoor terrace with access to a larger garden terrace built-in to the hillside (all dog-friendly and dog-safe). A real bonus was that evening meals included an extensive Italian Restaurant menu cooked up by an authentic Italian chef, Delicious! Breakfast was fresh, top quality, locally sourced, cooked to order and served with a smile. Particularly liked the on-site village shop and community hub. Congratulations to Karen and her team who have curated hotel ambience and service within the context of a traditional village pub.

The welcome by the owners was second to none. Everything was catered for and thought of. The bedroom was lovely and big with a wonderful aspect out over the gardens and the farm fields. It was picture perfect. The people were all so nice, the food amazing and the view a treasure. The little village was far enough away from the tourist commotion, but with easy access to all that we wanted to see.
