This was our favorite of our Highland hotels (we stayed in quite a few). My husband's and my room was beautiful with a view of grazing sheep on a nearby hill. The kids had rooms right next to each other, as we'd hoped. The dinner and breakfast were both excellent and served by the loveliest of women. We did giggle a bit when one of them said, "Here's your salmon" and we said, "Oh, it was sea trout on the menu" and she said, "Oh, yes, sea trout" and it was clearly and undeniably salmon--but in its own way that was wonderful too! Got my best night's sleep ever in the coziest of beds with a thick duvet to keep out the chill. Our kids took baths in the deep tubs and loved that. Highly highly recommend

Loved the location, general facilities and remoteness. Remember to bring your own food to cook as there is nothing nearby. The appliances were great quality and you can tell a lot of care has gone into it. Loads of space for a shepherds hut and it had a lovely water filter.
