Ronnie was attentive and super helpful with directions, area recommendations. Beautiful garden for kids to play, well equipped kitchen, close to ferry at St. Margaret’s Hope. Lots of information to refer to in the cottage re: the area! Lovely updated bathroom and laundry room!

The stay in Loanside was unforgettable. The location is very convenient for visiting the Mainland and for reaching all the islands by ferry. The house is in a very quiet location in the countryside, next to the owners' house, who are always available and very nice. The lodge really has everything you need and more, and is furnished with care and style: we especially appreciated the very comfortable bed, the large and comfortable bathroom, the fully equipped kitchen (there are plenty of dishes and there is also a washing machine with dryer). There is also a small utility room with an iron and ironing board, clothesline and hoover. The living room is also very cosy. We couldn't have asked for a better way to fully experience Orkney, highly recommended!

The chalet was bright and welcoming and very clean. It was good to be greeted by a member of staff the day after our arrival to make sure we were ok. We enjoyed the view of the Churchill barriers and Italian Chapel and being able to bird watch from the window. It is quite close to Kirkwall and we can recommend the ice-cream shop next to the cathedral! It's a good idea to book ferries for day trips to other islands before you begin your holiday as they get booked up very quickly.

We self catered kitchen was excellent could look out to see the seals spacious rooms for other guests there is nothing there so take you supplies with you or drive into Tesco wonderful

The facility was very nice. It was like we had our own apartment with a kitchen, tv, couch, bathroom, and bedroom, all appointed excellently.

Exceptional cleanliness, creative decor, comfortable beds and living room seating, modern kitchen with available basic condiments and a lovely bright, modern and spacious bathroom! The location was close to the airport, a short drive into Kirkwall and centred in the midst of beautiful Orkney countryside. Sheena was very helpful and we will definitely be back to stay again.
