The staff are very well trained and the atmosphere they create is everything you want from a top class hotel.
From the moment we arrived to the moment we checked out, there was always a member of staff on hand to assist with all your needs.
The location was wonderful, sitting in the bar, overlooking the river was wonderful. Close enough for a short walk down the river to Richmond town and shops but far enough away to be quite and peaceful.
A few minutes' walk from Richmond town centre and rail/Tube stations, the cosy, popular Red Cow is a restored inn offering home-cooked bar food and comfortable accommodation.

The location is good - close to Richmond train station so ideal to get into the city.
Free parking is helpful, although the car park is small so only space for 1-2 cars.
We stayed two nights and were very happy with everything. The physical hotel space is attractive and is maybe recently refurbished. There is free hotel parking but this can get full, in which case there is unrestricted on-street parking nearby. Staff on front desk at check in and in restaurant at breakfast and dinner were excellent. Breakfast is sensibly priced, so you don’t end up paying a fortune if you just want something small.
Easy to Find. Easy flat walk to Richmond train station. Small car park, and free street parking 6:30pm until 8:30am. Comfy bed. Nice and warm room too.
