It was such great value for money. Everyone was really friendly, it was very easy to find. Lovely clean room that was cleaned and tided when we came back after the first day. The food was lovely and great selection and great value for money, with really reasonable priced drinks. Parking right outside and a great local shop and Chinese. Brilliant location for Cardiff and Brecon Beacons. Will definitely visit again.

We went camping and had a horrible experience, so we left the campsite and stopped at the nearest hotel - which happened to be the Lord Nelson. The staff are incredibly nice and accomodating, the rooms are sparkling clean and the bedsheets smell of detergent. It was absolutely perfect and after what had been an absolutely terrible day, I slept like a baby. The best bits: super clean; free parking; amazing owner and staff; excellent breakfast
