Absolutely fabulous bed and breakfast in the heart of Dartmoor. Mary IS the hostess with the mostess. Beautifully decorated rooms, with super comfortable large bed and views to die for. Mary gave us excellent trips/hikes to go on, and a cracking breakfast to get us on our way. We also got her list of pubs to visit and tried a few out. We wished we had more time!

Owners were very helpful. We were staying with friends who were all going to a wedding nearby. The hosts allowed us to check in early and made sure a couple of rooms were ready so we had somewhere to leave our bags. They also provided a list of local taxi services we could contact. Breakfast was great with a friendly service Free parking was a bonus

Very friendly & happy staff. Perfect location, hikes/walks directly from Hotel, tourist info 1 minute walk. Clean recently refurbished room including bathroom (and pub) beautiful & great ambiance (fireplace, stone walls, decoration etc). The food was delicious - yes it is a pub, but the food (breakfast and diner) was more restaurant like - not just good portions but great taste too. Lively place, but the room was quiet. Easy car parking on site. Highly recommend this wonderful place.
