The breakfast was very good. Freshly cooked to order. The waitresses were very pleasant. I stayed for meals in the evening and once again not disappointed. I had the curry one night which was home made with plenty of chicken. Delicious 😋. Receptionist and night Porter very attentive. and resolved issues swiftly. The towels were lovely and white and fluffy. Bed very comfy. Bathroom has been recently modernised apart from the flooring which was a shame.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Our room was tastefully furnished and a very comfortable bed . The shower was excellent. Pleasant bar and dining area with polite friendly staff. Really good location for walking around with good restaurants and bars. Some parking with a nice outside area. Lovely old coaching inn!
The owner was amazing friendly and very welcoming the location and parking was excellent and the room was immaculate comfortable and amazing attention to detail fresh milk put in room bed turned down just an overall amazing experience highly recommended
Great central location in historic small town with several independent shops and great selection of good quality reasonably priced restaurants.
Hotel rooms and restaurant very nice. Good breakfast.
Quirky individual bedrooms with period features/furnishings.
Easy free parking overnight with small first come first served hotel car park.
Friendly staff.
The hotel is less than a 10min walk to high st which was fantastic convenience. The bed was very comfy and we had a good nights sleep. We were able to park fine but it was quite a small car park so if full may have been an issue although there was other parking nearby.
