It is a lovely hotel, beautiful surroundings. Although at the moment surrounded by a big building development it was very easy to get to and didn't affect our stay.
As families grow in size, so too do the needs of a family holiday. That’s why family hotels are set up to cater for all ages, from toddlers and kids to teens and adults. Typically, you can expect restaurants with kids’ menus, games rooms, fitness centres and a pool area where children can play and parents can relax.
Location unbeatable, in the center but still quiet and relaxing
Excellent breakfast a la carte included
Decoration and space of rooms, and amenities
General ambiance of the pub
Staff attention, with particular mention to the Cuban lovely lady
Parking available free of charge
Loved the beer garden, nice flowers and very charming
We travelled with an infant and the cot was all ready and set for us on arrival
Picture postcard village with a pub that matches. Breakfast was good and the parking secure. Lovely garden to the rear of the pub ideal for children. We arrived on a Sunday so were not able to dine in the evening., The stairs to the first floor are steep. Anyone with mobility issues should be aware.
Brilliant staff especially Non, the duty manager, she was very professional, friendly, funny and helpful. This is an old original coaching inn with many of the original features restored. It's very clean everywhere, and the food is fabulous!!! Compliments to the Chef Soltan. Chic/fusion interior design in the bedroom of old traditional furniture with modern facilities and decorative touches. Beautiful place overall.
I like how the rooms were cozy although a little strange the shower was in full view and my daughter was with me. Also only one bed which meant we had to book 2 rooms for 2 adults 2 children making me pay twice the cost.
Lovely pub in a pretty village. Owner was very welcoming. Breakfast was just right offering a small (me) and a large (husband) plate, nicely cooked. Room was clean, comfortable and just as described.
Excellent location for a short stay in Olney. Room was cosy very warm and spotless. Hotel owner very welcoming. Suited my needs for a short visit to family.
Hotel by name but not by function, this is a guesthouse.
A very friendly owner, great location, easy parking, very clean, but very basic guesthouse.
Bed was very comfortable, but there were no surfaces to put things on, there was a small table with tv & kettle on. Would have been better to have tv on wall, another bedside table, a hook on the door for coats & some hand wash rather than the tiny box soap would have made the stay more comfortable.
Would stay again if in area.
