Everything we needed was on hand. We stayed in the Heritage Cottage and we had two bedrooms, kitchen, bathroom, lounge and dining space too. Such a comfortable cottage and such accommodating hosts; welcome goodies (food & drink) & a great portacot for my 10 month old. The common area to share with other cottages was great too; washer & dryer etc. Parking was readily available and outdoor courtyard space utilised the beautiful afternoon sun. So relaxing, comfortable,with a lovely wood burner as the weather suddenly turned cold again. Roomy, everything anyone could need, it is in there from kitchen equipment to hot water bottles! Very quiet, dogs loved it as it is quiet too. The kitchen is large enough to do proper cooking, the living space is so well thought out there is space for different members of the families t spend time doing different things. We loved the whole thing.

this was a quaint little cottage/barn all on one level and compact. The electric storage heaters (2) were sufficient even though it was the end of January beginning of February. There was a little convector heater for a boost and some little portable fan heaters which we didn’t need to use. Everything else was in the cottage that you needed.

Beautiful house, clean, in a great location, out of town but close to lots of sights. The hosts are great, very helpful and welcoming. There is a large garden and there are also 3 playful dogs, 2 Shetland ponies and a horse, which just adds to the experience. We were lucky enough to see a beautiful aurora display from the garden. We had a wonderful time and would visit again.
