Naively I expected a buffet to accompany the cooked breakfast, however, I discovered I should have ordered whatever I wanted. Once I did, Robin went out of his way to make me what I asked for and the fresh fruit salad was perfect. Robin was careful about certain foods that make me unwell.

Lovely friendly owners - big thanks for giving me a lift to the station in Machynlleth! My room was spacious and beautifully clean and the bed very comfortable. Home-cooked food in the Chinese restaurant attached. I had a very pleasant stay there.

Breakfast was a great start to the day. Very quiet and comfortable. Easy to find.
And I did not know it was at the railway terminus until after we booked but my spouse does not believe me.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
From the minute we walked in the bar door the welcome was wonderful. The staff were very friendly and helpful. The beds clean and comfortable. The building has an amazing history and the rooms were respectful of the building's age. The evening meal was very tasty. Breakfast is also excellent. The house dog Ruby was also a wonderful friendly host. Good free parking to the rear.
Breakfasts were cooked to order and also a buffet too , so no problems for GF , although no GF cereals when we were there. All the staff were helpful and the owners were lovely and very friendly.
Great location as you are straight out on to good roads and ready to explore Mid-Wales . Garage just up the road so no Fuel problems.

Room was better than expected, more modern than the pictures with a nice country feel. Lovely touches of the water, biscuits, tea and coffee provided in room each day and breakfast was great. Very good quality and very friendly waitress! Lots of parking, close to main road.

A beautiful location, plenty of parking, welcoming staff and a very clean and well appointed room. The bed was particularly comfortable and shower was excellent, the coffee and teas, hot chocolate and biscuits a nice touch. The breakfast was nice and plenty on offer.
