This is a very well maintained property, it clearly has had ongoing investment for many years by people who understand their business.
Staff were all polite informed and helpful, food was very good, our party of 4 tried 3 different main meals and all were so good. A week ago I paid £4 less for a similar meal to my choice and resented it. Aberdurant was worth the menu price and a pleasure to get meals that may be slightly more expensive, not silly money, that represent good food and are worth every penny.
Room was great quiet, everything worked simply a place worth knowing and we will go back thankyou.

We had dinner in the hall one evening and the food was exceptional. Was advised to book as they get busy and well worth it. The staff were so friendly and helpful and nothing was an issue for them. We stayed in a cabana and it was so clean, well laid out and comfortable. We stayed 5 nights but wish we’d stayed for longer

Our stay at Yr Hen Farcdy was the most cosy and hospitable B&B we had the pleasure of staying at on our tour of Wales. Mike and Sue are the most amazing hosts and made us feel like family from the moment we arrived. They have a wealth of information to share about the area and can point you to all the best attractions. Our accommodation was perfect and provided everything we needed. The magical garden setting is such a peaceful surrounding and make the place very special.
The breakfast was outstanding and delicious and we felt it was one of the best breakfasts of our trip. We can highly recommend Yr Hen Farcdy and would definitely return.

This place is located right near Minffordd railway station and the Portmeirion resort which was my next place to travel to. The service from the hosts was exceptional. I was very impressed with the facilities and the size of the place. It was very comfortable, clean, and quiet. I can recommend this place.

The place was superb and very near to walking areas around Ffestiniog areas. The home was clean and the amenities were excellent. I think I would still go back if the amenities and prices would still be the same next year.

Location was spot on and property was very comfortable and had everything we needed for a perfect stay.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.

Very fast and convenient check-in and check-out. Plenty of space in the car park.
The breakfast was quite good even though not much different bread to chose from. Wide assistent of jams and marmelades but limited when it came to cheeses and hams.
Lovely location with a pub nearby and lots of countryside. The accommodation is an old large house and seems very well maintained. I had a single room which was small but adequate with a kettle and plugs near the bed. Good parking.

Staying at Plas Tan y Bwlch was fantastic. One night just wasn't enough! The rooms were such great value that I couldn't believe that we had arrived at the right place as the house and gardens are so beautiful! Nearby there are 2 places to eat in walking distance, but plenty more in nearby villages by car. Great place to stay for hiking trips to Snowdonia. About a 25 min drive from Snowdon car parks.
Everything. Kitchen is very well equipped, living room and bedrooms are huge. Everything is modern and nice. Car parking is easy as there is a huge drive area. Having gates on the drive means the dog could roam free around the outside space. The place was spotlessly clean.
