Kestrel Inn is well-sited and overlooks the scenic Cwmdu valley. The Inn and its rooms are clean, warm and comfortable, and the owners are welcoming with much-needed advice on places to visit and things to do. All modern facilities catered for. Kitchen is small but there is very good use of the space including a range for cooking, microwave, dishwasher, kettle, toaster, coffee machine, washing machine. Kitchen fully equipped with cutlery, pots, pans, glassware and crockery. Sounds crowded, but the use of space means it isn't. Very well planned cottage, and will take some ideas away for my own property. Hosts are really friendly and accessible when I had any questions about recycling, etc. Bed was comfortable and I struggled in the arms of Morpheus most mornings to get out! Wonderful views across the valley. Magical when the snow was on the mountain tops and it felt like spring at the cottage.
