We liked everything about this hotel. We paid extra for the SUPERIOR room, you get an extra sofa bed if needed. The room was of a good size, bathroom as expected, with a shower over the bath. The room was quiet and warm The TV & WiFi were great. The breakfast was EXCELLENT, English & Welsh Breakfast options. The evening restaurant was very enjoyable, but lacking in atmosphere due to its size. The breakfast room had great views across open countryside. This is a very nice hotel, and YES we would rebook as it's so good, an amazing find in such a beautiful location, easy for the ferry ports, shopping and access to the midlands etc.

After we were badly let down by another home we rented that was so unclean we couldn't stay there we found this property and it was available at short notice. The property was very clean and cosy in a quiet area. The host was friendly and accommodating to get the cottage ready for us at such short notice and even provided us with some milk and mini rolls (that the kids devoured) Lovely garden for the kids to play in. The cottage was nicely situated next to dinefwr gardens and castle which is a must see, its beautiful, it is also close to the M4 and A40 making it super easy to travel further out to the beaches and breacon beacons. We will definitely stay here again and will be Reccomending to friends visiting wales.

Most has been said - the stunning view from the kitchen, the facilities, spacious rooms, cleanliness and attention to detail. Plus Hilltop is just a couple of minutes' walk from the centre of Llandeilo which is great when you are only there for a couple of days. PLUS, an important consideration for us is to have a secure environment for our 2 small dogs. Hilltop fulfilled this and it was a joy to see the dogs scamper down the steps and play ball on the grassy area below. We have booked another (longer) stay at Hilltop later this year as Llandeilo is such a central location that the surrounding areas are within easy driving (or walking) distance.
