The property has been in our family for many years and we are looking forward to opening it up for guests to enjoy. Downstairs has been recently renovated to allow for a large open plan kitchen/ dining area with modern kitchen which opens out to the out door area. The property sleeps up to 6 guests (one king bedroom, one double bedroom, one single bedroom with pull out base and mattress to turn this into a twin bedroom). The property is located in Ffairfach and is approximately 1 mile from Llandeilo town. This can be walked within 20 minutes or reached by car in less than 5 minutes. Ground floor: Entrance hallway leads to the open plan kitchen and dining area, as well as the sitting room, and stairs leading up from the front door. The sitting room is spacious with plenty of comfortable seating. There are two large double sofas with a coffee table in the centre of the room. Here you can enjoy watching the television and relaxing together. You will also be given the choice between paying a refundable deposit or buying a non-refundable damage waiver. The property is in Carmarthenshire, Wales and is set within the village of Ffairfach. The village benefits from a playground which is approximately a 10 minute walk away, a small convenience shop which is close to the park and also supplies takeaway coffee and cakes. There is also a family friendly pub within walking distance called the Torbay Inn. Local amenities in Ffairfach also include the award-winning butchers. - Dewi Rees. Supermarkets- The nearest supermarket can be located in Llandeilo which is a 5 minute drive away, these include a Co- Op and CKs supermarket. Llandeilo town also benefits from lots of small independent businesses which provide the community and visitors with local produce and a wonderful shopping experience. Places to eat and drink- There are lots of options for dining out nearby and call all be accessed on foot within approximately 15 minutes. The closest place to eat is The Torbay Inn which serves pub means. We would also recommend eating at the Cawdor, this is very popular with the locals. We would recommend booking ahead as it can get busy. There are also lots of lovely coffee shops to choose from. Our personal favourites are Diod and Pitchfork and Provision for coffee - (the latter also has an excellent bakery and deli! ) . Heavenly and Flows are also very popular in the town. Heavenly is great for those with a sweet tooth and worth a visit to pick up some delicous treats and ice cream. Local attractions- There are lots of walks to enjoy which are on the doorstep. We have left some leaflets at the property which gives some ideas of the walks nearby. We are fortunate to have the popular Carreg Cennen Castle nearby which we would recommend visiting. Dinefwr park can be accessed within a 10 minute drive and also benefits from its own castle 'Dinefwr castle', you also have the wonderful Newton house on site and lots of wonderful walks to enjoy here too.
