The Moorings location is on the seafront, some 15 to 20 minutes walk to the centre although there are numerous bus's running into town. Personally, I enjoyed the walk. My room was on the ground floor next to the bright little dining room. Plenty of choice for breakfast and Emma, the host, was very friendly and made the stay like a home from home. There was also a handy small store for my bicycle.
A ride or walk to the end of the longest pleasure pier in the country is a must when visiting Southend!

The accommodation was very clean and fantastic location with regards to access to the seafront.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Such a perfect location with walking distance to Leigh restaurants and bars. The flat was clean and tidy with all of the necessites including a very comfy bed! Great to have a parking space included. Exceptional support from the host, so very kind and helpful providing really clear information. Fabulous location within short walk of The Broadway and loved the provision of secure parking. Four of us stayed and both bed & sofabed were very comfy, the kitchen area seemed very well equipped and the whole place was incredibly clean.
