Room was cozy and homey, staff/owners were very friendly, welcoming, and helpful, and breakfasts were exceptional, as we could order whatever we liked from the breakfast menu, which was then freshly cooked. I selected eggs Florentine each morning and was delighted with the quality.

The staff & management at the property were very friendly, really made you feel like you were one of the locals. The rooms were really big, clean & tidy. We loved the privacy and quirkiness, it was an ideal restful mini break . Our first time away together and couldn't of been more appropriate as so peaceful. Loved sitting by the fire outside, cooking on it. The Hobbit house was very cosy, was no need to light the log burner even though the weather was stormy. Would highly recommend.

The chalet/stable was absolutely fantastic, finished to a high standard, lovely king size bed,TV and tea and coffee the staff were all very friendly. Great place to stay!!!
