We travelled to Derbyshire to visit chatworth house and booked at the hotel very last minute. We was very impressed with how we were welcomed on our arrival by very helpful and friendly staff. Our room was spacious and we were provided with a free bottle of beer and Prosecco which was a nice surprise. We also didn’t expect to receive a free packed lunch to take with us even though we only stayed for one night.

The best holiday retreat I've ever stayed in, in my whole life! High specification, very spacious, and every little detail has been considered. Hot tub is very private and to die for! The lovely owners live in the farmhouse next door, so on hand, if we'd had any issues. Was sad to leave 😞

We have very much enjoyed our weekend at this cute, spacious cottage. Comfortable beds, great bathroom, convenient location, parking space in front. Friendly, efficient communication with the owner. Good value for money. I'd definitely come back for another outdoorsy weekend in the Peaks.

We appreciated the personal welcome on arrival. Also the milk, coffee, tea, sugar, salt, pepper, washing up lliquid and dishwasher tablets, etc which were very welcome. The accommodation was very well appointed with so many extra thoughtful features which made us feel at home. We enjoyed the visit from the peacock and the view of the silky chickens. Would highly recommend and certainly like to return again and again.
