The location was beautiful, secluded and set with lovely scenery. It was well connected to main roads, other than the track to the property itself. The village nearby had a Sainsbury's and a large Tesco which sold everything you could want and was less than a 10 minute drive away. Prosecco and chocolate left in the fridge were greatly appreciated and the hosts gave wonderful amounts of information about the location & amenities nearby.

Although this is self catering, everything you need for a lovely English breakfast was in the fridge. We stayed in a cold spell but were as warm as toast with the log burner and free fuel and the underfloor heating. This detached cottage had everything you could wish for in a unique and beautiful location.

Excellent location for us and very helpful and friendly owners. They looked after us very well. The room was comfortable as was the bed. Breakfast was superb.

We stayed in the Shepherd’s Hut and really enjoyed the privacy and facilities. We had everything we needed for a short stay. The outside area was also lovely and would be even better in the summer time when it would be possible to make use of the seating and BBQ.
