Gosforth Hall Inn, hotel in Gosforth

Located near the beautiful Wasdale Valley where you will find the deepest lake in England and Scafell Pike, the highest mountain in England.

We really enjoyed our stay at Gosforth hall inn. It was super dog friendly with a short walk to a field with amazing views to exercise our dog. We had drinks in their beautiful beer garden before & after dinner, I had the steak & mushroom pie which was superb. The room was very clean & comfortable with a modern bathroom with a really good walk in shower. Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice & set us up for the day. I only wish we could of stayed for longer, but will look forward to returning.

Location and value for money is fab. We stayed for one night and makes a good & affordable base for hiking Scafell Pike. The room is better than what we expected & had the basic necessities that you’ll need. We appreciated how clean it was. Free parking located 200 yards from the property which was great. Local shops and restaurants within walking distance too.

Everything was perfect for us not to far from coast, scafell pike 9 mile away. Good size car park, with disability parking bay right next to 2 entrances, the room was a good size on suite bathroom ,comfortable bed, room was spotless, tea and coffee available in room with kettle. The breakfast was amazing with a wide choice to suit everybody. The staff was very helpful and always with a smile on there face. I would definitely go back again if in that area, and the prices was way cheaper than most other places we searched for bed and breakfast.

Check in was straight forward and easy. We had free parking and WiFi also coffee and tea making facilities. The room was warm and fit for purpose and the shower was hot and powerful. Cute little room fair for the price. We could cross the road for food to a nice friendly pub.

The staff were super lovely and helpful. The atmosphere was always pleasant and when we arrived and were told we had a free room upgrade (amazing). We had the ease of being able to have a tab on our room, so we could just pay when we left. Super dog friendly and the breakfast was delicious. Perfect location, cute village and 5 minutes or so drive to the beach which had free parking. I cannot fault any part of our trip.
