Rachel was warm and welcoming and made us feel very much at home. The room was light and inviting with a lovely comfy bed, fridge, tv, kettle and lots of extras - mini toothbrushes and toothpaste, face mask, eye masks etc.
The bathroom had a spacious and powerful shower and bathrobes and slippers were provided.
The breakfast room was bright and clean with a good view of the large and well established garden. There was a good selection of cereals, fruit and yogurt, juice, pastries, fresh bread, eggs, tea and coffee. The range of preserves was amazing and we enjoyed different ones each day.
This was a lovely, clean and homely property and we will definitely see if there is a room available when we are in the area again. Lovely hosts and Ragnar the dog is adorable.

A very quaint property set in a peaceful and beautiful location, a real hidden gem. Wonderfully clean and comfortable with everything you would need for a relaxing stay. The bathroom door was a particular surprise. Simply fabulous and will visit again.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
What a gem. Very friendly, polite, helpful and efficient owners Kay and Doug. Started with a personal welcome notice outside directing me to personal car parking space. Very comfortable spacious room. Very quiet and peaceful house, garden and neighbourhood, nicely located for a variety of attractions. Lovely breakfast. Would give it 100% with a distinction.
Liked · Exceptional room / suite, both in size and quality of everything. Massive, comfortable bed and everything provided for a lovely stay of three nights. Breakfast of high standard taken at a table in the bay window. Exceptionally helpful and considerate hosts in Kay and Doug for whom nothing seemed to be too much trouble. The location was ideal for the range of sightseeing locations we were able to see. Parking immediately outside the door of the private access to our accommodation.
Room was spacious, the building was very beautiful and all the charm of its age is kept intact. Super bathroom layout with shower and deep bath. Very comfortable bed and room too, attention to detail is second to none! The most wonderful breakfast is included also; we will definitely return to visit more of Suffolk. Off road parking is provided too!

A quirky historic room with plenty of space and not a flat or straight line in sight, But its 600 years old and I loved it. The whole house is wonderful with a lovely large rear garden, The owners need to and obviously do love the property and were very attentive, breakfast is just about anything and everything you could want. I have never before been welcomed with a welcome notice showing my car parking space. Truly memorable.
I class this as exceptional, it was and I cannot think I could every find another place like it!
On arrival in the car park was a sign with my name on directing me to a parking space, quick and easy. Choice of breakfast was very good, what i did have was perfectly cooked.
