Hayley and steve were so lovely, such a warm welcome.. hayley had communicated days before with textes, emails.. even had a text day before saying we could get in our room earlier... cleanliness of the hotel and room we stayed in was excellent... lovely surprise for us in our room on behalf of hayley and steve..
Breakfast was excellent.. nothing too much trouble..
Bedroom staff was lovely and friendly...

The staff were so helpful & friendly. The food was excellent and the bed/room so comfortable and clean. I loved the background music in the restaurant. The Inn is in a great location for walking and driving from. There is a lovelybeer garden and ample parking. I thoroughly enjoyed my stay and will take my husband back with me soon. ideal location. very very dog friendly. lots of car parking. All of the staff were brilliant the family who run this pub were amazing and so accomodating they made you feel like part of the family too. I had family locally and there were 6 of us do they accomodated 13 of us all in one go for the evening meal, the food was great traditional pub food and very reasonably priced as food in the Lakes can be very expensive. Service was great and we were all served togehter.
lovely old inn with fireplaces in the pub lounge/dining area in a fabulous picturesque location away from the crowds. service was great very friendly and efficient. comfy beds onsite parking and the food was excellent. also dog friendly! we shall stay again.
