We really enjoyed our stay at Gosforth hall inn. It was super dog friendly with a short walk to a field with amazing views to exercise our dog. We had drinks in their beautiful beer garden before & after dinner, I had the steak & mushroom pie which was superb. The room was very clean & comfortable with a modern bathroom with a really good walk in shower.
Breakfast was excellent with lots of choice & set us up for the day. I only wish we could of stayed for longer, but will look forward to returning.

Our stay at the Rainors Farm was extremly relaxing. The view was stunning, there was no noise, just farm animals and birds. Claire was very forthcoming and could read our minds. She made our stay just perfect! The homemade breakfast was excellent!

The location was great as we were booked on the train journey with afternoon tea in ravens glass the next day. Which only took us 15minutes to get to the station.We spent a lot of time on the balcony with fantastic views over looking the river ethan.Also the free parking was great.
For the price and location this suited perfectly.

Tip. If you want to eat here booking is essential. It is the only place in town offering a sit down evening meal. But if they have no bookings they do not open.

Very nice views from cottage at the rear ,there were two balconies to choose from to sit and enjoy .parking for your vehicle is a few feet away at end of the row of cottages , its on private land , a parking permit will be provided for display . There were a lovely family of ducks on the Riverbank I took a snap of them so cute. The cottage has all you require and a short walk to shops /pubs etc.
What an excellent weekend break we enjoyed at the country house.

Rooms are spacious and clean.
Bathrooms were modern with showers and some rooms having roll top baths.
The hot tub is an added bonus along with the bbq.
The host is very accommodating and understanding.
We had zero issues during our stay and throughly enjoyed every moment of it.
Highly recommended and wouldn't think twice booking it in the near future.
