Louise greeted us with a beautiful smile, great conversation and later a cold beverage. She was kind enough to prepare a traditional Scottish dinner on short notice. Fabulous food, including haggis, which we tasted for the first time. Breakfast was just as good. Beautiful, clean, modern, spacious home. Thank you Louise for the hospitality!!

First of all Jenny is lovely and made us feel so welcome. Property was lovely and much bigger than we expected. Well equipped kitchen and laundry room with everything you could need, really handy to have a freezer. Rooms were spacious and beds were comfortable. Plenty of room for 6 adults and a toddler. The weather was good during our visit so most of our time was spent in the garden or conservatory. Good location to use as a base for visiting Dunnet Head, John O Groats etc. Under 10 minutes by car to nearest village (Castletown) with a lovely butchers, well stocked Spar shop, hotel which serves food, chip shop and Chinese takeaway. You’ll also find access to the beach here (our grandson loved it). Throughly enjoyed our stay and will definitely be back.

What a wonderful little cottage! We stayed for 2 nights and felt very sad that we had to leave. The cottage was very spacious and warm, with a very large and well-equipped kitchen. Reaching the cottage was very easy, and a short drive from Wick and a very large supermarket. Kirsty and Scott were wonderful hosts, providing all the information we needed for our stay and ensuring everything went seamlessly. We would most certainly like to stay again another time!

The location was perfect for us. The communication with the host was excellent. We were running late to check in but they made the directions and process easy. We loved the farm. The accommodation was great and spotlessly clean. The BBQ hut was amazing and we only wished we could have stayed long enough to use it. We'll have to make another trip back!

The Room was spacious with countryside views. All recently been decorated so pretty smart overall. Breakfast was good requiring pre booking the night before. Car Parking was plentiful. All the staff were very pleasant and helpful. We ate on both evenings when we were there and the meals were tasty and reasonably priced. The hotel is close to Dunnet bay if you feel like a long beach walk.

We chose the hotel because it's convenient for an early morning crossing to Orkney but if you fancy a stroll it's also right beside a most beautiful beach. The room was a bit small but quiet, very well equipped and recently decorated. Plenty of car parking and warm welcome on arrival. The Covid policy was sensible and everyone seemed to follow the guidelines.
