Breakfast was ok, no one to help you when travelling with a toddler.
Not set out for children at all. Like having your child at breakfast felt awkward, my daughter is very well behaved but it felt like we were in the wrong place.
Zero small spoons on the premises! So little mouths have to try and eat cereal with massive spoons, not good.
Ended up with only eating an orange while my breakfast got cold after searching for a spoon.

Having a dog with us, the room across courtyard opening directly to outside was ideal. Hotel very dog-friendly. Staff very helpful with temporary parking as car park was temporarily full when we arrived

Perfect experience, the hotel is in good location, opposite is a church. The room size is ok, with different theme. A leisure pub downstairs, delicious breakfast. Car parking is easy.

This was once a coaching inn. Our room was in part of what I guess was originally the stable block. It was a good size, warm and comfortable. The ensuite was spacious including bath with shower over.
The pub itself is very old and the bar was pleasant and had a log fire.
There is free parking on site. We needed an overnight stop and this was ideal.
