Staff were very welcoming. Food in the pub was fabulous we ate there both nights and there was a great and varied selection on the menu. Room was very comfortable and very clean and toiletries smelt amazing! Already looking to book again!

Beautiful location, also very convenient when you don't have a car, close to several pubs, the shop and some great walks! Room was lovely, very clean and a comfortable bed. it’s a beautiful cottage, filled with thoughtful additions to make our stay enjoyable. Matt and Ginny left Derbyshire pancakes and honey for us, as well as tea, milk, coffee …and a coffee machine. We all loved the hot tub, and the special towels and slippers made it extra special. My daughter arrived first, on foot in the dark and was a little lost, but Matt rang her to help her find her way and met her at the cottage. Lots of logs, comfy beds and squishy carpets made this a lovely place to stay and we would happily return. our dog doesn’t go on sofas etc but there are rugs just to protect little furry friends, as well.

The View is in a location with the most beautiful views of the Peak Distirct. The accommodation is extremely comfortable and Lisa and Pete have thought of everything you could possible need and more. We were overwhelmed with the attention to detail. We've never stayed in a place that is as perfect as this in terms of facilities, cleanliness and comfort. I was born in the house many years ago and Pete spent a long time talking to us and showing us how brilliantly they had renovated their home. It was a very special visit for us so thank you Pete and Lisa. I hope we'll be back next time we are visiting from Australia.

This is a wonderful cottage in a lovely small village, convenient to many great hikes in the Peak District. The owner was very helpful during our stay. I honestly don't think I have ever stayed in a rental that was so clean and pristine--the care put into maintaining this property is exceptional.
