What a lovely place, so glad we discovered it. Annette is fab and her breakfasts are amazing. She’s a very welcoming host and the BnB is absolutely superb, as are the views south towards York. Wouldn’t hesitate to stay again.

The place was incredible, beautiful yurt set in a gorgeous location with amazing facilities. The hot tub was great and the views breathtaking. The hosts were very helpful and made sure we had everything that we needed for our stay with great communication. Just a shame we were only staying for one night, will definitely come back.

We Loved the hot tub (very spacious for 2 people). We loved the location… being in the heart of the wilderness. We had a meal at the plum and partridge which was also amazing.

Great location clean and well organised with the hot tub ready on arrival
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The menu and food were excellent. Wine list was good. Parking directly outside the room was great. The room was excellent especially given it was a dog friendly room ( we had a dog - in many places the dog friendly rooms are not good.). The welcoming pack was very informative. Great for non locals to know what walks there were.
At breakfast the service and food were both excellent.
We met the owner who was very friendly, the chef and some of the bar staff were very friendly and helpful.
Fabulous location. Good parking. Service and food exceptional and the room was just perfect. Spacious and so comfortable. All our requirements were met.
