We loved everything about this property! Suzi and Paulo (and Lola the dog) were super friendly and gave us a great tour, the building itself was beautifully decorated, and the grounds well kept, the rooms and facilities clean and warm (but you can turn your radiator off or open a window if you like it a little cooler). It had great character and felt almost magical - it’s clear that a lot of thought, care and effort have gone into making this a perfect B&B. The food was tasty and fresh. Overall we had an amazing time and it was an absolute pleasure to stay her. Highly recommend.

Virtually everything. The cottage was superb. The beds were perfect. The lock keeper and his wife were so friendly, it was a pleasure to talk to them both, when they were not working. The location was brilliant. Even caught lots of small fish when having an hour or two. All four of us, said, what a wonderful holiday!!!!

Absolutely loved our stay here.everything you needed was there,very clean and modern.Under floor heating in bathroom was great. Views were amazing,nice to watch boats coming through the lock.location was perfect,5 min walk into the town. We had our dog with us and found a nice walk to follow. Bed was very comfortable.shower nice and hot.will definitely return.
