The rural location is lovely and quiet and Lola the black labrador is absolutely as gorgeous as previous reviews have stated. The Fox Goes Free (pub) is nearby for a special meal.

Very helpful staff. A lovely atmosphere. The food in the restaurant was excellent. We ate most nights in the hotel which is something we rarely do.

Lovely setting on a beautiful farm. The chalet is nicely presented with little touches that are nice like a small food basket and towels in a pretty bundle. It's smaller than we thought but has all you need for a short trip
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
Food at both dinner and breakfast was excellent; it was good to have interesting options for breakfast (shakshuka; smoked trout; etc.) rather than just the usual full English. The room was beautifully decorated and immaculately clean. There is plenty of parking available.
Excellent location, room was immaculate, bar area was welcoming, evening meals were delicious. Plenty of parking, very little traffic noise, no light pollution. Easily 9.6/10
Beautiful surroundings
Staff friendly
Dinner was beautiful but pricing slightly out, We found it a little on the expensive side
Great parking area out front
The bar area is beautifully decorated
Clean comfortable and stylish property with ample parking and great food and fabulous staff. The staff truly welcomed our dog which made us realise other dog friendly properties are only dog tolerant. Lovely to have decent accommodation when travelling with a dog.
Excellent, helpful staff. Very good location for exploring the region. Comfortable rooms, especially the ground floor room with shower we had on the second night - plenty of space even with our quite large dog. Rooms are set around a lawn, each with its own front door so very convenient. Good pub grub. 3 electric car charging points in the car park.
It was secluded and our jacuzzi was actually private and very big (enough for at least three people). shower pressure was good, customer service was amazing and there was ample parking available.
Loved the building and atmosphere. Location was beautiful and the room was clean and had character. Food was suburb Lots of vegetarian options. I particularly enjoyed the continental breakfast.
Staff were very friendly and attentive . Plenty of parking
Excellent place to use as a base to explore the South Downs.
