The accommodation was very spacious and comfortable. There were plenty of places nearby to get an evening meal and we enjoyed an Indian meal in Bakewell and a pub meal at the Ashford Arms. We were meeting our daughter and the accommodation was perfect for catching up with family as there was a private sitting room. It was very quiet which was much appreciated.

Well equipped, very clean and comfortable cottage. Lovely outdoor space and convenient parking. Close to lots of good walking and attractions in the Peak District
Perfectly sized property for a couple and well behaved labrador. Great location with walks out the door and somewhere to walk the dog off the lead in the mornings and evenings. Parking on the road could be awkward but worth it for the peaceful location with a local pub selling great food that is also dog friendly.
Excellent base for walks/ hikes in the Peak District. The cottage is cosy, well equipped, has off road parking and is in a quiet off-road position. About 15 minutes drive to either Buxton or Bakewell for supermarkets, shops and restaurants.
off road parking, location of great beauty, some essentials left for us (I was very grateful for the biscuits) clean and tidy, WiFi was really good, great information pack left by the owners, and lovely pub up the road.
Very well equipped and clean cottage, private parking, lovely location with a great pub up the road. Village is super quiet. Bonus of a beautiful paddock to walk the dog (who appreciated the stone flag floors and garden space). Thanks also for the welcome food pack - appreciated!
Perfect little cottage with two decent sized bedrooms and two bathrooms. Living room was cosy with a log fire. Extra bonus, a downstairs loo. Kitchen was well equipped and stocked with tea, coffee, sugar, bread, milk and beans for our arrival - a lovely touch as the village has no shop. Parking off road at the rear is available. We were able to arrive in our own time as we were sent a code to access the keys which really suited us. Everything was quiet and peaceful. Cottage was well situated for lots of locations in the Peak District .
