The Owlhoot Annexe is by far the best accommodation we have ever had the pleasure of staying in. We have stayed in many places around the world. Helena and Tony are excellent hosts, nothing is too much trouble and the place is simply outstanding. We will stay there again.
One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
we like the property because there is parking right by the door, it is always clean and comfortable and always well stocked with bottled water, fruit juices and snacks, teas, coffees, soaps etc. has WiFi. and in a lovely location.
The location is beautiful. The accommodation is in small, chalet-style, timber-clad buildings adjacent to the Five Bells pub, looking over the pub car park. The pub does not serve food, including breakfasts but recommended places to go. When there are no cars parked there is a beautiful view down into the village and over the green. Room 3 overlooked the church across the road with bell-ringing practice on Friday evening.
