Great location, 10 minutes walk from the town centre, a very pleasant walk in. Just off a main road, though very quiet. Veggie breakfast was excellent. The hosts were very personable, helpful and informative. Overall a relaxing short break.

Cosy but with good, modern facilities. We loved the conservatory and the garden especially. Lovely situation. Everything we could want in village with shops, pubs and restaurants. Beautiful countryside for walks.around the village. Peaceful and people friendly. Not far from coast and many inland attractions too.

One of the biggest headaches when driving to your hotel is finding a convenient place to park, so these properties are on hand to take the pressure off. Options range from secure underground car parking, to safe spots within easy reach of the hotel itself.
The location is great just the job for me.The staff were very friendly and helpfull.Food was top notch and prices reasonable.Parking right outside is a bonus.Thankyou all.
The food. I had Chicken, ham and leek hotpot with veg and Stuffed yorkshire pudding.
And the staff. Two young girls on the bar who also checked in overnight guests and served food. Both excellent.
The car park had the gates shut at night which was a good idea.
We had to buy bacon buns from The Shack in the car park.I had hoped that at £75 per single some breakfast - even continental could have been provided. If morning staffing is an issue how about offering in the room some single packet cornflakes or similar with milk, and some fruit, for us to "self service"?
