Small but comfortable single room.
Warm welcome from the staff who were chatty and helpful throughout.
I really enjoyed my steak pie and chips - very tasty as was pudding . Less than £30 for 2 courses including a pint . Great value. Parmos , a local delicacy, feature on the menu here and the staff were happy to talk through the options with my neighbours.
Cooked Breakfast was good . I could tell the ingredients were of a better quality than your average pub breakfast
