Updated early eighteenth century inn in quiet village location. Handy for Kielder Forest and Borders. Pleasant outlook from the room and excellent bar-restaurant. Spacious dedicated car park.
We received a very friendly welcome and staff were all very friendly throughout our stay. Room was nice and the food (dinner and breakfast) is good pub food. Good car park at rear and lovely rural location.
Staff were very attentive and friendly. Food was excellent, even had vegan ice cream so i could have a pudding(lactose intolerant). House Red was splendid. Room was spotless and the bed was very comfortable. CCTV covered car park to leave my motorcycle. Would happily stay again.
